Fundraising
Various programs are offered all year long to support
Albany Christian School. Additionally, the following fundraising events
happen for shorter periods throughout the year. Please
contact us for questions or to volunteer.
Read-A-Thon
The
Read-A-Thon is a great opportunity to encourage reading by the students of
ACS and raise some money at the same time. Students recruit sponsors who
donate based on the amount of reading each student does during a specified
amount of time.
Walk-A-Thon
Each
year, we have our Walk-A-Thon where every student, PreSchool to 8th
Grade, collects pledges for the "walk." Students, staff, and parents walk
laps around the gym. The 3-year-old class walked 13 laps one year recently,
while some of the older students walked/ran over 60 laps. It is great fun
for all participants!
Annual Spring Auction
This
evening is a lot of fun and a great way to get to know other parents and
people who care about Albany Christian School. Purchase tickets online
(available early spring) and contact
us about getting involved.
